| At the heart of the Comparative Constitutions Project are our many employees. At any given time, we have roughly 10-15 employees hired to code and reconcile constitutional events. Below we acknowledge all
of our research assistants, past and present. |

Senior Research Assistants

Our senior research assistants have have been working on the Comparative Constitutions Project for many years. These individuals work on reconciling constitutional codings, research papers that draw on the data, and on various administrative tasks involved with a project of this magnitude.

Reconcilers

Reconcilers are the individuals who compare multiple codings of constitutional events to remove any discrepancies between the codings. These individuals are critical in ensuring the final data is both valid and reliable.

Coders

Below lists all of our past and present coders. Virtually every employee of the Comparative Constitutions Project started as a coder. The coders diligently read through constitutional texts to answer the questions contained in the survey instrument.

Document Specialists

After the coding started on the Comparative Constitutions Project, we quickly realized collecting all of the constitutional texts to code would be a large undertaking. As a result, we developed procedures for collecting, translating, scanning, and performing optical character recognition (OCR) on the constitutional texts in an effort to locate and digitize an English translation for every constitutional event in our chronology. The individuals listed below are our text experts, past and present. They have been integral in collecting and managing our collection of texts.
